How to perform

Hang from a bar with an overhand grip, shoulders active. Without swinging, curl your pelvis under and raise your legs towards your chest. The key movement is the pelvic tilt, not simply lifting the legs. Lower slowly and fully under control. Start with knees bent and progress to straight legs as you get stronger. Common mistakes: swinging to generate momentum, and lifting only at the hip flexors without curling the pelvis.
